A:Yes. By improving joint motion, muscle balance, and posture, chiropractic care helps reduce stress on your body and supports long-term mobility and wellness.
Acupuncture
A:Acupuncture is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine that uses fine needles to assist the body in realigning natural qi flow and address the patterns that lead to disease. The flow of qi can affect all aspects of mental and physical health. Whether you are dealing with an injury or a long-term complicated illness, there are treatments available that will reduce pain, calm the nervous system and increase the healing process. When acupuncture is practiced through the lens of Chinese medicine, it will reduce the symptoms that are causing distress by treating the underlying patterns that lead to the development of a health condition.
A:Generally, acupuncture does not hurt. Some sensations upon the initial needling process that you can expect include a quick poke, dull aching, an awareness of very mild pressure or most often, nothing at all. It is more likely that you will feel the qi moving shortly after needle insertion, and this feels like a kind of circulation of energy. Everyone experiences each session slightly differently. The most common reaction to acupuncture, though, is complete, deep relaxation.
A:Acutonics uses tuning forks placed on acupuncture points and energy centers to help support mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. This practice takes an acupuncture session to a deeper level of relaxation and spiritual harmony by addressing the energy bodies more directly. Acutonics forks are tuned to the frequencies of the planets in our solar system to imbue particular qualities to support your healing. This practice can be done with or without needling included.
