Dr. Ryan's first chiropractic experience was over 20 years ago, following a high school football injury. After two weeks of being unable to stand fully upright, let alone play, he sought chiropractic care. Three treatments later, he was back on the field. He has been an advocate of chiropractic ever since and has now fully transitioned his career into the profession.
Before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2024, Dr. Ryan followed a unique path. He completed an Engineering Design diploma and a Technology Management degree at NAIT, then spent over a decade in the steel fabrication industry. He is proud to have contributed to major projects across Edmonton and Western Canada.
Dr. Ryan is no stranger to chronic pain. He lived with debilitating low back pain for thirteen years with no clear diagnosis despite extensive medical and alternative assessments. His personal healing journey, driven by frustration and determination, shaped his patient-centred care philosophy. Today, he integrates manual adjustments, MRT, acupuncture, and exercise therapy to address both the physical and mental components of pain.
He maintains his own well-being through exercise, gratitude, self-development, time outdoors, and regular chiropractic care. Dr. Ryan believes that stimulating both sides of the nervous system is essential for long-term balance and health.
For over 20 years, Cassandra has immersed herself in the study of holistic health,
exploring nutrition, movement, belief systems, and alternative healing methods that
are intrinsically nurturing and effective. She naturally found her way to Chinese Medicine
and Acupuncture after practicing massage therapy, teaching yoga, and learning Acutonics® sound healing.
Cassandra’s acupuncture approach blends traditional and esoteric methods,
incorporating Chinese Zang Fu theory, Five Elements, and neoclassical
acupuncture techniques. She draws on her strong foundation in anatomy,
massage, and movement to treat injuries, chronic pain, and wear-and-tear
conditions with a gentle and integrative approach. Each session is tailored
to meet you where you are, while keeping your long-term health goals in focus.
Cassandra combines therapeutic treatment with education around lifestyle and the
alignment of thought and intention—tools that help facilitate health and a deeper
sense of personal power.
Her treatments may include acupuncture, cupping, light gua sha, Acutonics sound therapy,
and customized herbal or dietary recommendations.
She enthusiastically welcomes all clients with an attitude that is open, compassionate,
and engaged. She is a general practitioner with a particular interest in injury recovery,
women’s health, chronic fatigue and depletion, emotional and spiritual trauma, anxiety,
depression, immune support, digestive disorders, and pain management. She also offers
deeply relaxing and rejuvenating facial acupuncture, ideal for those seeking a restorative
experience that supports both inner and outer well-being.
Hi! I’m Michelle!
My intuitive touch is the foundation of my work—it’s what allows me to tune in to what each person’s body
needs and tailor treatments that make a real difference. I’ve always been passionate about anatomy and
understanding how the body works, and I love helping people get to the root of their pain so they can start
feeling better.
I’m especially drawn to hip and shoulder issues—probably because I’ve dealt with my own injuries in those
areas and know how life-changing real relief can be.
Lately, my focus has shifted more toward Rapid NeuroFascial Reset (RAPID NFR)—an incredible, fast-acting
treatment that works with the nervous system to release tension and pain at the source. It’s the most
effective tool I’ve found for helping people move better and feel better, often in just one
session.
I still offer therapeutic and relaxation massage, but my true passion is helping people recover from injury
and break free from chronic pain—especially through RAPID. I’d love to welcome you to Bodiworks and support
you on your healing journey!
I started my massage journey in a more non-conventional way than
most, through karate. I started karate at the age of five years
old and ended up competing internationally as a teenager. I
started teaching karate as a way to continue educating people the
discipline and respect involved in the practice. While teaching I
noticed the strain practicing martial arts put on my students and
wanted to help them address those issues, which led me to learn
massage.
While I was at school, through my training, I
learned that I could help more people through massage than just my
students. I graduated from CDI College in 2018 and started
volunteer work with the Edmonton Prospects baseball team. After
the season, I took a job massaging full time, helping as many
people as I could. Over the past 5 years I have developed a better
understanding of the body and use what I learnt to control the
depth of my massage.
I specialize in deep tissue, but
I am able to read the muscle tension and any additional indicators
to reduce or increase my pressure as needed. Additionally I also
specialize in sports therapy, driven by my work with karate and
volunteering. I also provide maternity, pre-natal, and post-natal
massages as I believe less stress on the mother can help with a
healthy child. In order to bring more benefits to my clients I
have also taken courses in hot stones, cupping, and kinesio-taping
and can incorporate as needed.
Hi, I’m Jessica — a Registered Massage Therapist since 2020 and in practice since 2021.
I specialize in deep tissue techniques and have a strong interest in working with individuals
experiencing chronic pain. My treatments blend deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and Swedish
massage to help release built-up tension and promote lasting relief.
I’m passionate about helping people feel more at ease in their bodies and believe in
tailoring each session to meet your specific needs. Whether it’s through
focused breathwork, gentle stretching, or postural awareness, I aim to support
your wellness both on and off the table.
In addition to my core techniques, I also offer sports massage, prenatal and postnatal care,
and dynamic cupping. I’m continually expanding my knowledge to provide the most
effective treatments for your goals. I look forward to working with you!
